Nice tribute and song selection. "Playing in the Band" really does showcase Bobby's harmonic sense - that whole era of Dead songs where theyre blending major-key optimism with these weird modal shifts is underappreciated. I've always thought the Terrapin Station material gets overshadowed by the 70s stuff but "Estimated Prophet" in 7/4 time is lowkey one of their most technically sophisticated arrangements. The reggae influence there worked way beter than it had any right to.
