Announcing the next Tuniversity class: From Loop to Bop
Learn how to turn your folder of eight bar loops into complete songs
Derek Fawcett and I are delighted to announce Tuniversity’s second online workshop, starting July 8th!
It has never been easier to produce music on your computer, but it has also never been harder to complete any of that music. If you are feeling overwhelmed by all the sounds and effects in your DAW, if you can make loops but can’t figure out how to turn them into a coherent songs, or you just don’t know how to decide that something is finished, you should sign up. We will cover:
Loops and sound libraries
Song structure and form
Arrangement, layering and orchestration
Battling option paralysis
The class deals with technical aspects of songwriting and production in Logic and Ableton, but we are mostly focused on the internal part of the creative process: attention, judgment, and critical listening. Join us! Use this contact form to register. You can also message me on Substack.
July 8 - August 26, 2026
$800
Beginners are welcome but some prior songwriting, beatmaking or music-making background will enhance the experience
